Loosely defined as the 78 million Americans born from 1946 to 1964, Baby Boomers entering their 60s could end up suffering from more disabilities than their counterparts from previous generations, a new UCLA study suggests.
Researchers looked at a group of individuals in their 60s — born just before the Baby Boom began — and found a greater increase in disabilities among them compared to groups in their 70s and 80s.
They found that those now entering their 60s are more likely to have disabilities such as falling as a result of immobility, urinary incontinence, memory loss and dementia, arthritis, high blood pressure, heart disease, osteoporosis and diabetes.

I am interested in why there is a likelihood for these disabilities. Is it due to lifestyle, accessibility to medical care/economics, societal influences, i.e. a lifetime of being exposed to mass media advertising … what? Here’s where your amazing research ability comes into play!
